Why the Kubota U55-4 suits landscaping

Its reduced tail swing lets it work hard against fences and walls without clipping them — ideal for the boundaries and tight corners you get on suburban blocks. Rubber tracks are far kinder to existing lawns, paving and driveways than steel, so there’s less to make good afterwards.

With around 3.8 m of dig depth and a ~40 hp Kubota diesel, it has the reach and grunt for retaining footings and bulk cut, yet stays light and nimble enough to get through a standard side gate on most jobs.
